The Edit: London Design Fair 2017

The London Design Festival continues at full pace and next up on my list as part of my collaboration with Treniq, is the London Design Fair. Located in the uber-cool creative heart of East London, the London Design Fair is a four-day event that brings together 500 exhibitors from 28 different countries.

I loved the mix of modern design and technology at the show, but this year the use of more tactile materials, texture and organic forms seemed to offset the use technology – making it far more realistic and achievable for the regular home. Re-use and recycling is thankfully still popular, and there is a definite movement towards making creative use of waste materials from various industries. In colour prediction news, as at Decorex, brass and greens make a regular appearance.

Something I really noticed at this particular show, was the support of young, and up-and-coming designers, which can only be a good thing! I hope you enjoy my video edit of what caught my eye at the London Design Fair this year.
